  When you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple-provided user identifier and, if available, your name and email address. Your authentication token is stored securely in Apple’s Keychain on your device.
• App Usage Data
  When you complete practice sessions or exam simulations, we log your progress, exam performance, and study settings. This data is securely stored in our backend database (MongoDB Atlas) so you can view your history, dashboards, and AI study buddy feedback across devices.
• Device Information (Minimal)
  We may collect non-identifiable device information such as app version, iOS version, and crash reports for diagnostics and app improvement.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• Track your study history and progress across devices.
• Provide dashboard insights, performance feedback, and personalized AI study buddy tips.
• Improve the reliability and functionality of the app.

3. How We Do Not Use Your Information

• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.
• We do not use your data for targeted advertising.
• We do not share your performance data with certification organizations (ISACA, ISC2, CompTIA, etc.).

4. Data Storage & Security

• All usage data is stored in our secure backend (MongoDB Atlas) and protected by industry-standard security practices.
• Authentication tokens are stored locally on your device in Apple’s Keychain.
• We retain your data as long as your account is active to provide study history and analytics.

5. Your Choices

• Delete Account: You may request deletion of your account and all associated study data at any time by contacting us.
• Local Data: You may clear cached data or uninstall the app to remove local tokens and settings.

6. Children’s Privacy

Certlify is intended for adult learners and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our practices. If we make material changes, we will notify users through the app or our website.
